CDL A Local Driver

Essential job functions:

Safely and efficiently transport vehicles to various destinations. Assist location with portering and detailing of vehicles when not assigned to a route using tractor/trailer.

Be able to complete the following:

• Local Metro Detroit area pick- up and deliveries of vehicles.
• Day Shift.
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify and report any safety or mechanical concerns.
• Use of company equipment (tractor & trailer).
• Enclosed 2 car and lowboy trailer
• Moving cars, chassis and engine displays
• Maintain accurate driving logs, inspection reports, and trip documentation
• Maintain courteous and professional interactions with clients, ensuring on-time deliveries.
• Immediately report incidents or delays to management
• Vehicle functionality checks
• Vehicle detailing and show prep
• Battery replacement and charging
• Porter vehicles
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Skills/requirements:

• Valid CDL A License with clean driving record
• 1+ years of professional driving experience required
• Car hauler experience preferred
• Knowledge of DOT regulations
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
